 QUARTERLY TIP: Beware of replacing unsecured debt for secured debt. During real estate downturns the value of your home could be less than what you owe, and if you are unable to pay high mortgage payments, it could lead to a foreclosure.
 
 Unsecured loans would not cause you to lose your home, if monthly payments cannot be made, creditors can ait. Stay away from those who ask you to re-fi! It is pure unadulterated BS, It is your home, the home of your family that is being jeopardized!
